Author & Speaker Strategy
We refine the ideas you want to be known for
and build a masterful ecosystem around it.
Our Author & Speaker Strategy is for authors, emerging authors, speakers, founders and visionaries who know they have something meaningful to contribute to the world—but need clarity around the idea they want to own, how the pieces connect, and where that idea has the greatest potential to succeed.
The most enduring voices build a body of work around an idea that shifts thinking, opens hearts and creates lasting relevance with a community.

You Don’t Need to Be Everywhere
We are told to publish constantly, post consistently, create videos and show up on every platform. But more exposure doesn’t necessarily create more influence, nor does it build a sustainable audience or lasting connections.
The strongest authors and speakers become known for something authentically tangible: an idea, a question, a perspective, experience or a way of seeing the world that changes how other people see it too.
The goal is not to become an endlessly functioning content machine, but to create a coherent message and body of work people can recognize, trust and carry forward, simply because they’re inspired to do so in a meaningful way.
Find the Center: Create a Foundation
Our work begins by identifying the inspirational, intellectual and emotional center beneath everything else.
What do you want to be known for?
What conversations are you uniquely equipped to advance?
What have you lived, learned, questioned or discovered that gives you authority beyond credentials?
What are you in service to?
What do you see differently—and why are you uniquely equipped to bring that perspective forward now?
Your book, keynote, podcast interviews, articles, panels, workshops, media and social platforms shouldn’t feel like unrelated deliverables. They can grow from the same intellectual and emotional ecosystem.

One Central Idea. Myriad Expressions.
- A book can hold the depth that is a catalyst for deeper ideas.
- A keynote can distill the essential idea and get people excited about it.
- A podcast can explore its edges and reach new people you wouldn’t have otherwise.
- A panel can lead you to becoming a thought leader.
- An essay can start conversations.
- A workshop can let people experience the idea.
- Media can give the idea another doorway into the culture and bring credibility.
The strategy is knowing what belongs where—and what doesn’t.
The Message Ecosystem
What is the idea beneath everything else?
We uncover the deeper through-line connecting your experience, expertise, questions, values and vision.
Turn knowledge into a compelling story.
Together, we identify the stories, tensions, turning points, questions and lived experiences that make your ideas human rather than theoretical.
Authority doesn’t require performance.
Your strongest voice usually emerges when you stop trying to sound like a speaker, author or thought leader and begin sounding unmistakably like yourself.
Let the idea expand.
We determine how your central message can live across books, talks, interviews, media, panels, essays, podcasts, communities and other platforms.
From One Talk to a Body of Work
A single talk can reveal where an idea has energy. The questions people ask afterward, the phrases they repeat and the invitations that follow can show you what deserves to grow.
- A keynote may lead to a workshop.
- A workshop may reveal the framework for a book.
- A podcast conversation may surface language that becomes central to your website or brand.
- A talk may introduce an idea that grows into years of thought leadership and impact.

Resonance Before Reach
Reach asks: How many people saw it? What are the stats?
Resonance asks: Did it matter to them? Was it meaningful?
Both have value. But resonance is what creates lasting reach over time—building an audience that feels genuinely connected to you and the ideas you carry forward.
Remember that people share ideas that move them. They recommend speakers who changed their perspective about something in a meaningful way. They give books to friends because a passage articulated what they could not. And, they invite people onto podcasts, stages and panels because they want the conversation to continue.
What We Can Build Together
Depending on where you are in the process, our strategy might include:
- Clarifying your central idea, perspective and larger body of work
- Defining the idea or body of work you want to build your reputation around
- Developing your author/speaker positioning and signature themes
- Determining which ideas and stories belong in which format
- Defining thought-leadership ideas for articles, podcasts and media
- Identifying the audiences, organizations and communities most likely to connect with your work
- Mapping potential collaborations, conversations and strategic relationships
- Exploring how your ideas can become workshops, experiences or additional offerings

Your Platform Is the Ecosystem of Trust for Your Ideas
A platform is often described as an audience, but it is much more. It is the network of trust, credibility and relationships that gives your work greater reach and staying power.
It includes readers, audiences, colleagues, organizations, interviewers, event producers, journalists, collaborators, clients and the people who quietly—and sometimes passionately—share your work with someone else.
Some may follow you online. Many may not. What matters is that there is coherence between what you stand for and what people experience when they encounter your work. Credibility cannot be manufactured; it is built through consistency, trust, relevance and follow-through.

Who This Work Is For
You do not need to be famous or have hundreds of thousands of followers. This work is particularly suited to people entering a new chapter:
- Authors stepping beyond the book
- Experts becoming thought leaders
- Founders becoming public voices
- Speakers developing a larger body of work
- Executives moving into purpose-driven leadership
- Practitioners translating years of experience into something teachable
Strategy + Consciousness
Traditional communications strategy often begins with the marketplace: What does the audience want? What is trending? What will attract attention? Those questions matter—but they’re not where we begin.
What experiences shaped your perspective?
What do you believe deeply enough to stand behind publicly?
Where are you still performing someone else’s version of success?
What do you no longer want to say simply because the market expects it?
What are you finally ready to say from the heart—and stand behind fully?
What are you prepared to build?
Consciousness without action can remain an idea.
Strategy without integrity can build a platform
you eventually no longer want to stand on.
Founder Renee Blodgett has spent decades behind entrepreneurs, books, brands, companies, artists, founders, speakers, visionaries, celebrities and ideas—helping determine what deserves to be said, how to position it, where it belongs and who needs to hear it.
She has also worked from both sides of the equation: behind the scenes shaping messages, media strategies and launches, and in front of audiences as an author, speaker, moderator, interviewer, producer and TEDx curator and strategist.
Her more recent work in consciousness, retreats, and running a wisdom school adds another lens: not only understanding what ideas move people, but what is authentically true, aligned, sustainable, resonant and worth building around.
Your Idea. Your Voice. Your Body of Work.
Maybe you have already written the book. Maybe you are staring at page one. Maybe audiences already know your name. Or maybe the idea has been quietly following you for years.
Let’s uncover the passion and
the larger story—and build the strategy
that allows it to succeed.
